Yellow Dig

Yellowdig’s Engage digital platform is thoughtfully designed to build learning communities by combining the power of gameful learning principles with a social media interface. Engage supports active learning, student agency, and increases course participation, engagement, and retention. Founded in 2015, Yellowdig has worked with more than 100 of the largest and best learning institutions globally and has collected years of efficacy data on the platform’s impact on learning outcomes. Engage is used by instructors across a diverse set of degree levels, study areas as well as in face-to-face, online and hybrid course modalities.

Yellowdig Engage is a plug-and-play, community-building platform with grade passback through your existing LMS. The platform works on desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. Yellowdig is primarily used in curricular settings, but also works great to build learner lifecycle, co-curricular, faculty or other specialized communities.

Yellowdig is built on the basis of 3 pillars: Community, Relevance, and Outcomes. Community Health is about more than discussion posts, responses and AI-delivered high fives. It’s about active engagement, meaningful interaction, and actionable metrics. And that’s exactly what Yellowdig provides. We take the health of our communities seriously – with a holistic approach that drives success on every level. Best of all, it’s a place learner’s actually want to be. Community is our number one priority and the primary piece that sets us apart. The world of education is transforming – especially in the wake of a global pandemic. That’s why Yellowdig is built to adapt. Structured to accommodate different modalities, tech needs, time zones and languages, it’s what allows us to help learners, educators and leaders continue to thrive through change. Too many students start programs they never finish. Too many learners leave school burdened by debt. And too many dreamers fail to reach their full potential. Yellowdig aims to change that. By building learning communities that increase stakeholder satisfaction, elevate academic success, and dramatically improve retention rates.
