USDLA is excited to welcome you to IFWE 2021!
In response to the pandemic, IFWE 2020 was held virtually in December 2020. We are excited to announce that IFWE 2021 will be held in person at the New Orleans Marriott November 30 – December 3, 2021! This year’s program is going to be one of the best, full of high-quality keynotes and sessions, networking opportunities, health activities, and lots of fun.
We know everyone is ready to be together again, and the intimate setting for IFWE 2021 will provide you with connections to new friends and colleagues and the chance to see old friends and colleagues, all while learning more about what’s happening in the field of e-learning. New Orleans is a wonderful place to visit anytime, but especially as we approach the holiday season. Our program and hospitality committees are working to ensure the best experience possible, while also giving you the space to network and enjoy New Orleans! You can also make a vacation out of it as the hotel is honoring our room rate three days pre- and post-event. We hope you will join us!
What is IFWE?
IFWE, the International Forum for Women in E-Learning, recognizes the role of women leaders in the field and seeks to build a strong network of all people who support them. Launched by USDLA in 2004, IFWE is a participatory event that encourages open communication, vibrant discussions, and diverse voices. It is designed to tap into resources that include mentorships, e-learning programs and products, and an opportunity to learn from experts in our profession. In addition, attendees gain a better understanding of how to be a successful leader, up-and-coming leader, or support person in distance and online learning. Whether you are from K-12, higher education, corporate, military, government, or telehealth, IFWE welcomes you!
Interact with the IFWE community, and look for announcements and other pre-IFWE information, by joining our IFWE Facebook Group and/or the USDLA LinkedIn Group to get updates about the conference and begin networking.
