Meet Mrs. Laura Creach! She’s currently working as an Arrow Alliance Industries Contractor on the STEP project with the BIE as the Senior Project Manager for Education and Training. With over 31 years of experience in education, she has a diverse background that includes being a classroom teacher (National Board Certified in EA Math), Classroom Teacher Association President (for 16 years), Principal, Curriculum Administrator, Data Specialist, Accessibility Specialist, district level administrator as well as working in the corporate environment in curriculum development, product management, and project management. Laura has received her B.A. and MEd in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe; her Administration Leadership Certificates and her Curriculum Administration Certificates from Henderson State University; and her Data Science Certificate from Harvard University. She is also the author of the book “Choosing the Right Virtual School” and has co-authored K12 Inc.’s Algebra I, Algebra II, Precalculus, and AP Calculus textbooks.

Currently, she is serving as a member of the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) Board of Directors. What drives Laura is her passion for helping teachers see the benefits of using technology to improve student learning and innovation. She believes that technology is the greatest equalizer because of its differentiation capabilities and the ability to give a voice to students who aren’t able to speak on their own.
