Presenters: Leonora Zefi and Naza Djafarova
Naza Djafarova is the Director of Digital Education Strategies at The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education, Ryerson University. Naza has a Master’s Degree in Architecture and completion of postgraduate qualification Ph.D. program on Management: Social and Economic Systems. Currently, Naza is pursuing her Masters of Science in Information Technology Management at Ryerson University. Her thesis research focuses on flow and motivation in serious games. Naza actively participates in Ryerson Academic research projects and recently became a Lead Researcher for innovation in applied research in technology-enabled learning. She leads projects on design and development of serious games that have received international awards.
Leonora Zefi is the Manager of eLearning Initiatives and Course Development at The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education, Ryerson University. Leonora is an education management professional with experience in design, facilitation and evaluation of online and hybrid learning. She is passionate about experimenting with new approaches and creative initiatives that support learner engagement. She has been involved in the conceptualization of offerings that incorporate game-based learning principles. She has actively participated in research work in serious game design, and has presented at various gaming conferences. Leonora holds a Master’s Educational Technology from the University of British Columbia.
