Sandra Kučina Softić is Europeon Distance and e-Learning Network (EDEN) President and Assistant Director for Education and User Support at the University of Zagreb University Computer Centre (SRCE). Her work is focused on monitoring and fostering the e-learning implementation in higher education institutions in Croatia and providing support to institutions, teachers and students in implementation of new technologies. She was appointed Croatian representative in ET2020; working group on Digital Skills and Technologies (2016-2018), and in ET2020 Working group on Digital Education: Learning, Teaching and Assessment (2018-2020). She was appointed by EC a member of European Education and Training Expert Panel in 2018. She holds a Masters in Digital Education from the University of Edinburgh.
Dr. Josep M. Duart is the Vice-president of European Distance and e-Learning Network (EDEN) for research and is a research professor in Educational Sciences and Technology department at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). He is the former Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Lifelong Learning, and Director of the International Graduate Institute at UOC, (2007-2013). He has published books, and co-authored articles in specialist journals. Dr. Duart has also lectured on ICTs in higher education at international conferences including Europe, American, Australian, Latin America universities. In addition, he is the editor-in-chief of the “International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education”, Founder and Director of the UNESCO, and Academic Director of “Leading Universities in the Knowledge Society
