Jean Hansen has been deeply ingrained in the world of online learning and education for more than 30 years beginning as a classroom teacher, moving on to designing e-learning training for military and government clients, then designing and delivering online, hybrid and face to face college courses and also designing online, blended and face to face training for law enforcement and corporate clients. A number of the programs Jean has designed have received state and international awards for excellence.
In Jean’s current role as Sr. Online Instructional Designer at Drake University, she is directly responsible for the instructional design, production, implementation, and evaluation of online, blended and face to face courses for the School of Education as well as for a number of external clients. Jean enjoys exploring new technologies related to the production and delivery of high quality online content. Jean has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from University of Northern Iowa and a Master’s Degree in Adult Learning, Performance and Development from Drake University.
