Todd Hitchcock is CEO of Edcelere, an educational services company that helps colleges and universities graduate more students within six years. Attacking the key attrition areas across the university, Edcelere builds capacity within the institution to help students stay engaged and finish on-time.
Prior to launching Edcelere, Todd served as the Chief Operating Officer of Pearson Embanet where he worked to set the strategic direction for the group, managed day-to-day operations, and was responsible for growing the business. Prior to this, Todd served as Senior Vice President for Pearson Learning Solutions where he led the development of a number of online learning solutions and as Vice President of Global Services for Florida Virtual School where he lead a legislatively-directed commercial division that generated additional revenue for the school and state by providing online learning solutions to numerous schools, districts, states, and countries around the world.
Mr. Hitchcock has a combination of educational, governmental, and commercial experience. He is an advocate for educational improvement through innovative technologies and the democratization of education. Mr. Hitchcock currently serves on the Board of Directors for the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA), the Advisory Board of Ed Tech Times, and has served as an executive on the Board of Directors for the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL).
