Robert Zotti is the Assistant Dean and Director of WebCampus, the online learning unit at Stevens Institute of Technology. He has over 25 years of experience with implementing and supporting corporate information systems and institute-wide applications. He currently leads more than 150 faculty and staff in the development and delivery of over 250 academic courses in management, engineering, and computer science. Under Zotti’s direction, the division’s infrastructure was modernized and streamlined, helping the university to expand18 online masters programs. His efforts to promote best practices in online learning were instrumental in the university being awarded the United States Distance Learning Association’s “21st Century Award” and as well as the Sloan Foundation’s top honor for the “Best Online University.” He has served as track chair for annual USDLA and OLC national conferences between 2005-2017. Before joining Stevens, Zotti worked at Prudential for 10 years as a programmer, project manager, and trainer. After earning his Masters degree in Information Management from Stevens, he worked for two years in Prudential’s Software Engineering group, supporting CMM Level-2 initiatives. He is a doctoral candidate at Stevens (expected graduation date: May 2017).
